Imagine yourself as a seed: you would have the roots to ground yourself, leaves to catch bright sunlight. Perhaps flowers as proof of self-love, some fruit to spread your positivity? You shall become your own plant in time. You shall be elegant. You shall be unique. You shall have the potential to grow, always.
As a little seed, the possibilities are endless. “Oh, what would I look like, would I be fragrant? Would all this growth be worth it, and turn me into something beautiful?” If you want it, then it shall be so--so keep on hoping, little one; your wishes will come to fruition one day. Focus on yourself, on your growth. You will thrive in time.
Maybe you prefer the soil to be dry, or maybe you'd like it to be moist. Perhaps you want to be watered every day, a few times a week, or maybe even twice a month. That's alright, we all have our needs. It's possible that you want to stay in a warm area, or you thrive in cooler weather. That's fine, we all have our comfort zones; no need to rush getting out of it. Take your time to grow.
Are you insecure about your own progress, thinking it's slower than others', or less significant? Worry not, dear bud. As stated before, you will become your own plant soon enough. You will have your own little quirks and a meaningful name. You're growing for yourself first and foremost. You will help others in time, but how can you do so if you cannot help yourself? Baby steps, beloved sprout.
What's this? From a little sprout, to a perfectly-sized seedling? Amazing! I am proud of you. You're growing steadily, and your first few leaves are coming into view. They shall help you. Oh, you've gotten so far, you'll surely become a charming plant. As always, focus on growing; you have the potential to become something more.
There will be days where it will seem hard to continue on. Sometimes you may feel as if you're close to wilting. Maybe one day the sun will be scorching, or a powerful storm will threaten to uproot you. It's okay. This is indeed a journey to learn to love and care for yourself, but it does not mean that it is a journey that should be taken alone. Ask for help if you need to. We need help to grow too sometimes; we can't do everything by ourselves. Just as man is not an island, but a part of the continent, the same goes with plants—you need not grow alone, but one day you could become part of a garden, or a beautiful forest. Let others' support and love wash over you like refreshing water. You are not alone.
You will be so close to becoming a full-fledged plant. Your journey is not easy, but will be so worth it. You, like the aloe vera plant, will have to trim dead pieces that no longer contribute to your growth. As strong as the snake plant, you will have to endure many hardships, but your determination will allow you to reach this far. Despite there being so many obstacles, you will be able to power through, like how a bamboo palm cleans the air of impurities. You remind me of the Marantas, the plant of gratitude, because I'm so thankful to have been able to see you grow into the wonderful plant that you shall be.
And now, I stop here. Certainly, you will become a plant of your own. Once again, I am so proud to have witnessed your growth thus far. Your every leaf and blossom, will be so beautiful. The fruit of your efforts will be ripe for the taking— perfect for sharing. Indeed, you have surpassed my expectations, but this is not the end. So what next, you may ask? Flourish. Continue to thrive, and always aim for the sunlight. There is always potential to grow, and I wish your journey to be a path full of dietes and verbascum.
